It started in college when I felt God’s call upon my life to fully embrace biblical femininity.

As a new homemaker and mom, I began diving into all the research on homemaking. But more often than not, my relationships would get put to the side.

Just prior to the birth of my second daughter, I finally started to see that doing all the things was not what God wanted for me. He wanted me to rest and allow Him to show me how to live on a daily basis. By allowing Him to lead, I would have direction as a mother, I would be able to create beauty rather than chaos, and I would know how to live in the abundance He promised.

If you’ve ever found yourself wanting to do the best thing for your family but overwhelmed with how to do it all may I encourage you? Don’t! Rest in God’s presence. Give your aspirations for your home to Him and allow Him to lead you to what He wants instead. I promise it’ll be better than what you had pictured.
